An Aviation Treaty with a capacity of P10M and a Motor Excess of Loss Treaty with a capacity of P24M to cover its growing Aviation and Motor vehicle businesses.
The company has served new reinsurance treaties for 2010, namely, an Aviation Treaty with a capacity of P10M and a Motor Excess of Loss Treaty with a capacity of P24M to cover its growing Aviation and Motor vehicle businesses.
In 2010, SGI maintained its large reinsurance facility of P560 M in Property cover, P150M for Engineering, Marine Cargo at P76M and P68M for Gen. Accident and Casualty.
Asia Capital Re remains as the Treaty Leader of its First Surplus treaties with Japanese RI (TOA Re & Mitsui Sumitomo - both rated with S&P Rated “AA”) as supporting reinsurers.
SGI’s Gross Premium Written (GPW) increased tremendously from 2008’s P22.5M to 2009’s P82.3M. For 2010, SGI projects to increase its GPW to P150 M. It is now the fastest growing non life insurance company in industry.
